Call for Papers: International Conference on the occasion of World Ozone Day, September 16

The KLEF College of Law, KLEF (Deemed to be) University, Andhra Pradesh in collaboration with Aequitas Victoria Research Centre, Bihar as part of the celebration of World Ozone Day, 2024 is organizing International Conference (Online) on the topic "Reconstructing Anthropogenic Activities for Better Environment: A Multidisciplinary Approach".

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Anthropogenic activities have resulted in huge devastation of the environment consequently eliminating a large number of endangered species of biodiversity and disturbing the ecological imbalance. These issues have led to serious confrontations in the development of human society and as a result, the concept of sustainable development was adopted that demands altering anthropogenic activities for giving wider scope to development through an ecocentric approach. However, this development has also undergone serious transitions from the ideology of the common heritage of mankind to common concerns of humanity. The issues related to the environment are global but solutions are required to be local and individual demanding huge cooperation throughout each section of humanity transcending all geographical, national, or any other forms of natural as well as human-made borders. The contemporary phase is devoted to the achievement of globally approved Sustainable Development Goals for Sustainable Development based on Inter generational and Intra-generational Equity. However, these developments started at the global level with the Stockholm Declaration in 1972 which has completed 50 years. Therefore, at this juncture, an analysis of the developments made by the human fraternity across the globe in various sectors becomes necessary to understand the current stage of environmental protection and to strengthen the balance between human development and environmental protection. Thus, this International Conference aims at achieving this great objective through a multidisciplinary approach.
